About Collaboration
Coming from a family of avid sports fans, with a lot of love for the Miami HEAT, I made my family proud when I was asked to create a mural for a new NBA Cares Learn & Play Center at the Joe Celestin Center in North Miami. The Center opened following the 2013 NBA Finals and was refurbished in partnership with State Farm to provide kids with a safe place to learn and play.
The mural design was inspired by It’s a Small World artist, Mary Blair, and lives in a wonderful space for kids, equipped with high-tech learning tools, a reading space stocked with new books, board games and gaming consoles.
